Time and cost
Minimal impact, measurable return
55 min/week
Meetings run Wednesdays from 12:00 to 12:55 PM during the lunch hour. Virtual on Microsoft Teams. Your team member logs on, participates, and logs off. No travel, no lost productivity beyond the lunch period.
$12/month
Toastmasters International dues are $72 every six months, plus a one-time $25 new-member fee, prorated by join month. Blue Streak adds no club dues. That is $97 for a new member’s first full six-month period of weekly practice. A single half-day workshop or conference registration costs more and ends after one afternoon.
Blue Streak also hosts a monthly evening session with a different format: longer speeches, educational discussions, and deeper skill-building. Evening sessions happen outside of work hours entirely, which means zero additional impact on your team’s schedule.
Beyond the club
Professional development that compounds
The weekly meeting is the foundation, but members who engage beyond the club develop at an accelerated rate. Speech contests at Area, Division, and District levels build competitive poise. Twice-yearly Toastmasters Leadership Institute training expands their toolkit. District conferences connect them with speakers and leaders from across South Carolina and Georgia. District leadership roles (Area Director, Division Director) develop real organizational management skills.
